One year ago yesterday...

I posted my first entry of this (then radio powered) weblog:

Ok so I tried this blogging thing before about half a year ago, but did not get any further than post #1.
Hopefully I'll do better this time.
I guess I did...

Even though I only used radio for a one month trial before switching this blog to movable type, that original radio version of my weblog actually still exists at radio.weblogs.com/0118861/ - I wonder when they'll get around to reclaiming it...

Why did you switch from Radio to Movable Type?

I don't remember all the details, but Radio was acting weird at times, and customizing its templates meant I had to make the same changes in multiple places. I also wanted a server-side solution instead of something that would require me to run it on my own pc.
A friend of mine had just started his blog using Movable Type and let me check it out for a while. After seeing how powerful and customizable MT is, it was an easy decision to make.

Movable Type - sucks, therefore this non-russian product. :-)

I like Scrinium and use it in my blog (btw, my blog in you black-list :-\ ).

And like Register too.

This is two very flexible scripts for blog.
